Butterick 5247

A weeks ago I made the tunic style, view c in this pattern. I like the tunic but I was a little on the fence about making one of the dresses. I thought they were cute but just wasn't inspired to do it. However that changed while reading one of favorite blogs Toya @ www.trinilove.typepad.com made a gorgeous dress using this pattern. That was definitely the inspiration I needed to get moving. This dress was a quick & easy sew. The challenges that I faced was lining up the patterns on the fabric. I played around with it until I got it. This was the best that I could do.

Butterick Fashion Express 1 Hour Pattern. Semi fitted, pullover dresses/tunics, cowl neck, short or long dolman sleeves and belt.

One I love your fabric!

Two, I just bought this pattern and was asking myself why? Seeing your dress has inspired me.

I think the fabric makes it and now I am going to search for the right fabric for me.

Lovely dress. Looks great on you.
