New Fabric/Burda Style Magazine

This morning while reading Erica B's blog and seeing all the comments made regarding the July issue of Burda Style magazine. My curiosity got the best of me so I decide to go after work on a hunt for this magazine. I ended up in the garment district because all the local magazine stands near my job were all sold out. I went to Paron Fabrics because I remembered that they sell patterns & magazines also. As soon as I walked in I spotted it from afar.. I did a mad dash and scooped it up and it was the last copy. I know the salespeople thought I was crazy but I didnt give a &*&*... I got what I came to get and I was happy...lol...



Since it was early.. I took a walk over to Metro Textile and ended up leaving with 8 yds of fabric..He has so much new fabrics and some gorgeous knits. I didn't know what to get and he didn't the help matter. He just kept pulling out fabric after fabric. I was overwhelmed but I had to maintain control over my spending so I settled for these. The blue and white floral is a stretch cotton and the others are all knits. I can wait to use these fabrics. I am going rummage through my patterns and find the perfect pattern. As I was leaving he said to tell everyone in blogland "he has some gorgeous new fabrics in stock so stop by".
